On Nov. 5, the HUAWEI Developer Conference 2022 was held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. Simon Electric, as HUAWEI's all-in-one smart sub-system ecological partner, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd., based on which, by relying on Simon Electric's innovative products and deep technological research in the fields of switches, sockets and panels, lighting, smart, etc. and HUAWEI's solutions in the all-in-one smart field and leading advantages in the network connectivity technology, both parties decided to cooperate with each other in the all-in-one smart field, in order to make healthy, intelligent, and easy-to-use switches, sockets and panels, lighting, etc., bringing consumers a more professional and comfortable smart life experience and achieving a win-win situation in users’ public praise and commercial cooperation.
Shao Yang, Chief Strategic Officer of Huawei Terminal BG and President of the All-in-one Smart Production Line, Zhang Renyu, General Manager of Simon China and the management of both parties attended the signing ceremony. Tu Xiongwen, General Manager of Simon China's Strategic Key Account Division and Chen Zhong, Director of HUAWEI Terminal BG Business Development Department, signed the all-in-one smart ecologic cooperation memorandum. Before that, Simon Electric launched several smart lighting products based on HarmonyOS Connect. Currently, several switch/socket/panel products based on HarmonyOS Connect and all-in-one smart are also under joint development. This successful signing marks a new milestone in the cooperation between Simon Electric and HUAWEI.
After the signing ceremony, Zhang Renyu, General Manager of Simon China, was invited to, together with Shao Yang, Chief Strategic Officer of Huawei Terminal BG and President of the All-in-one Smart Production Line, and other guests, participate in Songhu Dialog activity. During the dialog, Shao Yang shared the new technology and commercial progress of HarmonyOS Connect Ecology, and the achievements made by HarmonyOS Connect in promoting the space smart. He stated that in the huge trend of personalized smart and space smart, he would continue to work with ecological partners to build a full scene smart life in the industry in the IoE era.
At the subsequent HarmonyOS Connect Award Dinner, Simon Electric was honored the HarmonyOS Connect Contribution Award and was evaluated to be the Excellent Scene Experience Partner. This was the further recognition of the cooperation between both parties, adding support for future comprehensively strategic cooperation and turning a new life.
