Shanghai Second Polytechnic University (SSPU) is an important university, from which Simon targets to recruit talents in Shanghai. Simon China HR has kept close relationship with the University.
Since breaking out in March, the COVID-19 has lasted several months in Shanghai. On April 15, immediately after aware of the University’s difficulty in preventing and controlling the COVID-19, Simon established a project team and supported the University.
On April 19, the supplies used to prevent the pandemic were delivered to the University, including: coveralls; barrier gowns and medical masks (200 respectively), rubber gloves (10,000 pairs), and disinfectants (118 bottles).
Due to insufficient logistics resources, the vehicles delivering food scheduled on April 19 couldn’t be arranged for delivery. To have the donated supplies arrived as soon as possible, Simon coordinated resources from several parties, replaced vehicles to load 6,000 pieces of instant noodles at the same night and had them delivered to the University successfully next day.
Simon’s charitable donation not only solved SSPU’s urgent demands to the supplies, practicing Simon to Be “Re-building Space to Benefit People’s Life,” but also highlighted Simon’s commitments and responsibilities to the society.
Facing the prevailing pandemic, we join hands to overcome difficulties and welcome our bright future. Simon is with you, jointly combating the pandemic and protecting Shanghai!
